JetBlue Policy for Standard Tickets: Changes in Flight Schedule

 

JetBlue has modified its policy for flight changes in response to this pandemic. Changes to any flight can now be made up until June 7, 2021. No fees.

 Book your ticket before or on June 8, 2021.

  • No change fee is applicable for Green, Blue Plus, or Blue Extra fares, if you make the change at least one day prior to departure.
  • There will be a USD 75 charge for a same-day change of , Blue Plus and Mint fare. But it is free for Blue Additional fare.


 Note 

  • If you want to change your flight's departure or destination:
  • If your new flight is more costly, you will only have to pay for the fare difference.
  • If your new tickets are cheaper, the difference is credited to you.
  • You can make the change online through Manage Trips. Or you can call JetBlue Airlinbes .The cost of changing by phone is USD 25 for each passenger.
  • JetBlue Travel Bank Cards can be used if your non-refundable tickets aren't refunded and you don't know when the next trip will be. Most Travel Bank credits are valid for twelve months from the date you received them.

 JetBlue Flight Change Policy For Mosaic Members 

JetBlue has waived any change fees that Mosaic members have to pay, even for passengers on their flight. Same-day switching will not incur a change fee.

 JetBlue Charges 

Calling to change your flight booking will result in a USD 25/passenger service fee. This is in addition to any change fees.

  • Blue Basic fares are not subject to free changes after June 8, 2020.
  • Change fees  Blue   Basic  Check out the fares  are:
    • USD 100/passenger on domestic routes within the United States.
    • USD 100/passenger all other routes
  • USD 75 is the price of a same-day exchange for Blue, Mint, or Blue Plus tickets.
  • Blue and Extra fares don't have a one-day change fee.

 JetBlue Fee Tips 

This information will be helpful if you call to make any changes to your booking.

  • Your flight confirmation numbers
  • Your flight number
  • Your travel date(s)
  • Date of birth, contact details, and other information about you (passenger).

This information will help you to change your flight online.

  • Your confirmation number
  • Your last name
  • Your city, of origin and destination

If:

  • JetBlue or a travel voucher was used to purchase your ticket.
  • You have requested a service special.
  • Your return flight to another city is available than the one that you originally booked.
  • You purchased your ticket through a third party.

In any of these cases, you should call JetBlue for assistance or the third person you purchased your flight from.

JetBlue Travel Credits allow you to either change or pay the difference online. However, you are not allowed to pay the following:

  • Even more space places
  • Baggage fees
  • Unaccompanied Minor fees
  • Pet fees

 JetBlue Fly Rebooking Options 

All flights tickets purchased after June 7, 2021 can be changed free of cost. Beginning June 8, 2021, only these tickets can be modified for free: Blue Plus, Extra , Mint.

For any modifications to a Blue Basisfare you will be charged USD 100-200 depending on your route.

If you hold a nonrefundable flight ticket, you can:

  • Cancel your ticket and convert it to JetBlue Travel Bank card (free of charge). You can then use the credit in 12 months.
  • If your new ticket costs more, you'll be responsible for the difference.
  • Your JetBlue Travel Bank account is credited with any balance that your new tickets are cheaper.
  • You can book your flight online through Manage Trips. 

 Change your JetBlue Flight Booking 

You can make changes to your JetBlue booking in these ways:

  1. You can modify your JetBlue flight ticket if purchased directly by JetBlue
    • Online via Manage Trips
      Follow the prompts on how to change your flight.
  2. Contact the travel agent you purchased your tickets from to get more information.
  3. If you want to cancel an award flight, you will need the following:
    • First, cancel it via the internet.
    • Simply contact TrueBlue.

The award flight redemption rates are subject to change as the airfares fluctuate. Rebooking an award flight will result in you having to pay more TrueBlue point if the airfares are higher than the original price.

 JetBlue Travel Bank Account 

JetBlue's Travel Bank Credit feature appears on JetBlue payment screen. When you book your tickets online, you can see your account balance. You can also choose how much money you want to apply. To access your funds, log in to either your TrueBlue.

Travel Bank is your first option if you are looking to pay in part by travel credit or partially by credit cards. After withdrawing funds from Travel Bank, use your credit card to pay the balance as usual.

 Change your JetBlue Flight Booking Online

If you booked your JetBlue tickets directly, you have the ability to change your travel date and time online via Manage Trips.

  1. Visit official website of Jetblue Airlines.
  2. Select the Manage Trips tab
  3. Enter your

  5. Last name
  6. Click on "Find Flight"
  7. Select the flight you wish to modify
  8. Follow these prompts to make the changes
    (incl. date, time, and/or destination)

JetBlue mobile app also allows you to make flight changes.
